The Bybanen light rail runs from Flesland airport to the centre in 45 minutes for the price of a bus ticket.

Take waterproofs, not an umbrella. Bergen wind destroys umbrellas and locals genuinely do not use them.

The Floibanen funicular is busiest between 10:00 and 14:00. Early morning or evening is quieter and clearer.
