> A practical guide for operators selling adventure tours on Instagram: the format that works, the buying moment, the play to run and the mistake to avoid.

Tourpublish is the publishing layer above your reservation system, not a reservation platform. Every tour operator should be able to publish everywhere from one place.

## What Instagram rewards

Short vertical video with a clear location and a single moment worth wanting. Static grid posts still carry the portfolio job, but Reels do the reach.

## When people buy here

Impulse and near-term. Most bookings come from people already travelling or travelling within weeks, deciding in the ten seconds after the clip ends.

## The play

- Use the guest's reaction, not just the stunt. The reaction is what viewers imagine themselves having.

- Keep a same-week departure link live during the season.

- Show the safety briefing briefly. It converts the hesitant half of the audience.

- Track weather-recovery pushes separately so you know what fills a cancelled week.

## What your setup needs

- One tap from bio or story to a working mobile checkout.

- Live availability so a viewer never lands on a sold-out date.

- A link per product, so you can tell which clip actually sold.

## The mistake to avoid

Making it look too extreme. You lose the large middle audience who would happily book the easier version.

## Why adventure tours in particular

Marketplaces sell adventure products on price and thumbnail, which pushes operators to compete against anyone willing to run a thinner safety margin.
